Privacy Policy

1.Information stored on your device

All of your practice information is stored locally on your device and is never sent to us:

• Practice scores, attempts, streaks, and statistics
• Songs/exercises and any edits, favorites, or imported items
• App settings (tempo, tuning, note-naming, language, reminders, etc.)

This data remains on your device and is removed when you delete the App or clear it within the App.

2.Microphone

The "Listen & transcribe" feature (in the song editor) uses your device's microphone to detect the pitch of the notes you play, so it can write them onto the staff. This happens only while you are actively recording in that editor. The audio is analyzed on your device in real time and is never recorded to a file, stored, or transmitted to us or anyone else.

Only that feature uses the microphone; the rest of the App works without it, and you can decline or revoke the permission at any time in your device settings.

3.In-app purchases

The App offers optional one-time purchases ("Standard" and "Pro"). Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and we use RevenueCat to verify purchases and unlock the features you've bought.

To do this, RevenueCat and the app stores process a record of your purchase and an app-generated identifier. We use this only to grant the features you purchased and to restore them on your devices. We do not receive your name, email, or payment-card details. See the policies of Apple, Google, and RevenueCat for how they handle this data.

4.Notifications

If you enable practice reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device; no notification data is sent to us or any server.

5.Anonymous usage analytics

To understand which exercises are used and to improve the apps, we collect anonymous, aggregated usage events (app opened, an exercise started, the paywall shown, and how long a practice session lasted), along with your app language and, in Intonation Training, the selected instrument. We use Google Analytics for Firebase, which assigns a resettable, pseudonymous app-instance identifier.

This data is not linked to your identity, is not used to track you across other apps or companies, and contains no personal information — no name, email, contacts, location, or microphone audio. You can turn this off any time in Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage data.

6.What we do not do

• We do not show ads.
• We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or browsing activity.
• We do not record, store, or transmit microphone audio.
• We do not sell or share your personal information with anyone.
• We do not link anonymous analytics to your identity or use it to track you across other apps or companies.

7.Children's privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8.Data retention and deletion

Because your practice data lives only on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing it in the App or uninstalling the App. For purchase records held by RevenueCat or the app stores, you may request deletion by contacting us at [email protected], and we will act on your request and pass it to our processor where applicable.

9.Security

Information exchanged with the app stores and RevenueCat to process purchases is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

10.Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. Since we hold essentially no personal data beyond purchase records via our processor, most requests relate to those records. Contact us at [email protected] to make a request.

11.International users

Purchases are processed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat, which may process data in countries other than your own, under their respective privacy policies linked above.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide notice within the App or on our website.
